Before you start the conversion you will have to define a source repository - the original repository from which to migrate.

Take the following steps to define a new repository:
1. Right click on < All Documents > at the head of the tree.
2. Select Define New Repository... from the context menu. The Repository properties dialog appears
3. Select GNU CVS from the Repository type list.
4. Enter a Repository name, e.g., CS Demo.
5 Click Options. CS-Converter will advise you to download the CS-CVS add-on. Click YES.

On the CVS Project Parameters dialog, specify the following parameters:

·Repository mode – Select Pserver
·Host – Type ComponentSoftware.com
·CVS Root – Type /cvsroot
·Module – This field is inactive. You need to specify this value when you later define a project in this repository.
Click OK.

When asked for the login details, specify:

User – Type guest

Password – Leave blank

Check the Remember Password option and click OK. CS-Converter will connect to the remote repository to verify your settings.

Click OK to define the repository.
