Adding a File to the RCS Repository

To use the CS-RCS revision control capabilities, you must add your file to the Repository.

To add TEST.TXT to the Repository:

1.

From the Windows Explorer, right-click TEST.TXT.

The right-click menu appears:

From the right-click menu, click Add to RCS.

A message appears asking you to confirm that you really want to add this file to the RCS Repository.

3.

Click Yes.

The current revision of TEST.TXT is checked-in to the Repository.

4.

Click OK.
