You may access remote CS-RCS projects through your Internet browser. No client software is needed to be installed on the workstation for this purpose. However, when you login to the RCSBrowser server, it will suggest that you download an ActiveX control. In order to utilize a majority of the RCSBrowser functionality, you will need to confirm the download of this control. Confirm this option when using a workstation for longer periods of time, e.g. when working from a customer site.
You may choose not to install the ActiveX control when accessing RCSBrowser from remote computers which do not allow installing of third-party software or from workstations which are only at your service on a temporary basis. In this mode, access to the RCSBrowser functionality is limited to the most important operations. Use this mode when using a temporary workstation for shorter periods, e.g. when working from an Internet terminal at the airport or an Internet Cafe.
