Customizing CS-RCS- Introduction

CS-RCS has been designed for quick-start operation, but many properties can be customized through the CS-RCS Properties dialog box.

To open the CS-RCS Properties dialog box:

1.

From your desktop, right-click .

The right-click menu appears.

From the right-click menu, select Properties.

Click the Windows Start menu.

2.

Select Programs | ComponentSoftware | CS-RCS.

3.

Click Properties.

The CS-RCS Properties dialog box appears.

Open the CS-RCS Document Explorer.

2.

Select CS-RCS Settings... from the 'Edit' menu.

The CS-RCS Properties dialog box is made up of the following tabs: About, File Types, Projects, Users, and Advanced. Use the Projects tab to create and edit projects. For information on the Projects tab, refer to Using The Projects Library in Configuring Projects. The remaining tabs are explained in the following sections.
