Using the Milestone Library

| 1. | Open the Document Explorer (refer to Using the Document Explorer Tool in CS-RCS Tools).

| 2. | From the Project drop-down list, select a project. Milestones are not supported for the All Documents selection.
|
| 3. | From the Milestones menu, click Library.
|
| The Project Milestones dialog box (referred to as the Milestone Library) appears:
|

|
| · | Click Add to define a new milestone.
|
| · | Click Report all to generate a report for all defined milestones. Refer to Milestone Definitions Report in Generating CS-RCS Reports for more details.

|
| After you select a line from the list, the Milestone Library allows you to perform following:
|
| · | Click Remove to remove the selected milestone.
|
| · | Click Edit to edit the selected milestone. Click the milestone's label to rename it.
|
| · | Select a Milestone Action and click Go! to perform an action on the selected milestone.
|
| Select from the following Milestone Actions:
|
| · | Generate report Generates a milestone report (refer to Milestone Report in Generating CS-RCS Reports).
|
| · | Retrieve revision Allows you to retrieve any project revision (refer to Retrieving a Project's Revision in Working with Project Milestones).
|
| · | Recalculate Milestone Allows you to recalculate milestones (refer to Recalculating Milestones in Working with Project Milestones).
|
| · | Compare Milestone Allows you to compare two milestones (refer to Comparing Milestones in Working with Project Milestones). (This feature is available on the Pro edition only.)
|
| · | Mark Revision Allows you to mark the selected milestone with a symbolic name (refer to Marking a Milestone in Working with Symbolic Names).
