| · | Check out - Use this command to lock (i.e, get an exclusive working copy of the documents) or unlock (i.e., enable other users to edit) all documents within the project. Modified files are not changed by this command.

| · | Check in - Check-in all modified documents within the current project.
|
| · | Scan - Scan the RCS Repository for new files and refresh the status of the files within the current project. It is convenient to re-sort the list when the operation is completed.

| · | Save on server Backup local changes on the RCSBrowser server. This enables you to continue working on the changes even if you switch workstations.
|
| · | Cleanup - Saves local changes on the RCSBrowser server. Once this is done, all local files are removed from the local workstation. Use this feature when you switch workstations.

| · | Test server access Checks the read-write permissions of the RCS server for each file in the project and presents the results. Perform this test when the statuses of the files are unknown or RCS operations fail. The read & write statuses of all files should show plus signs indicating the server has the necessary permissions. A minus sign indicates that the server does not have permission.

| · | Launch native client Invokes the CS-RCS client if present. Use this feature to access advanced project level options such as milestones, branching and merging, change analysis and workflow control.
