What are the files created by CS-RCS in the central repository root?
Top  Previous  Next

The STP files in the repository contain CS-RCS system-level definitions and intermediate data. These files should not be altered in any way. The critical files have a CPB file that is used as a backup for the STP file. To recover from unwanted changes, duplicate the CPB file and rename the one copy's extension to STP, or restore it from your latest backup.
Each project in the system has a CSP file. Also, each project may have a CPB file that is used as a backup to the CSP file. To recover from unwanted changes, duplicate the CPB file and rename the one copy's extension to CSP, or restore it from your latest backup.

All other extensions were created by old versions of CS-RCS and may be moved to a backup folder.

The Recycled sub-folder holds a copy of all removed projects.
