The CSDiff tool lists the differences between two revisions of a file. For example, when called from the CS-RCS Document Explorer, the changes between the last checked-in version and the current working version of any selected, modified file are displayed. You may navigate through the changes and verify them before checking it in to the repository.

The following window appears:

You may use the View menu or the toolbar to navigate through the changes. When using CS-RCS Pro, you may use the CSDiff Edit Mode to accept or reject changes which are to be included in the check-in. See Accepting and Rejecting Changes for more information.

Tip: You may use the View | Compared Revision command to open the revised file with an editor.
