Recalculating Milestones

When a milestone is defined or changed, CS-RCS scans all of the files matching the milestone's criteria and caches this information to speed-up further milestone operations. In rare situations, you can force CS-RCS to re-calculate the milestone information, for example, if a symbolic-name is edited in an RCS file.

To force milestone re-calculation:

1.

Open the Milestone Library (refer to Using the Milestone Library in Working with Project Milestones).

2.

Select a milestone.

3.

From the Milestone action field drop-down list, select Recalculate Milestone.

4.

Click Go!.

The milestone is recalculated.
