Using the Document Explorer Tool - Introduction

| From the Start menu, select Programs | ComponentSoftware | CS-RCS | Document Explorer.

| From your desktop, double-click |

| Select the project within the Project Library (refer to Using the Project Library in Configuring Projects in the User Guide) and click Open.

| The Document Explorer appears:
|

|
|
|
| From the Project drop-down list, select any project.
|
| OR
|
| From the Project menu, click Set Active Project.
|
| The Select dialog box appears displaying a project tree.
|
| From the project tree, select any project.
|
| From the Branch drop-down list, select any branch.
|
| OR
|
| From the Project menu, click Set Active Branch.
|
| The Select dialog box appears displaying a branch tree.
|
| From the branch tree, select any branch.
|
| · | Select any project or folder in the left-hand tree to control which files will be displayed.
|
| · | Right-click on any project, folder or document to execute item-specific commands.
|
| · | Sort the list by clicking the desired column header. Re-click the same column header to reverse the sorting order.
|
| · | To locate a specific document, click the Document Name column and type the first letters of the document's name.
|
| · | Place your cursor over any document in the list to view the document's title, if available.
|
| · | Double-click on any document to open the document with the application associated with the Windows Explorer Open command.
