View Changes and Tasks

To view the changes and tasks of a specific project, open the project in the Document Explorer and select View My Tasks from the Workflow menu. All changes applied to files in the time span defined by the workflow range appear in the Change Explorer. Each user will only see those states available for their group as defined in the Define State dialog.

   

You may perform the following actions from the Workflow menu:
·Properties – Edit the change states of the current project.  
·Define Range – Define the range for the current workflow.  
·Refresh – Refresh the task list. This option is useful when changes have been promoted or demoted by other users.  
·Create Shortcut – Create a desktop shortcut to your task list.  
 
You may create reports that list changes and tasks in various formats. For full information on the Change Explorer tool, see Using the Change Explorer Tool in CS-RCS Tools.

Tip: Gain easy access to your task list by creating a desktop shortcut. Work mainly with the By Change tab as every line represents a complete change. The other tabs give additional information and actions needed on specific scenarios only.
