Version Control for Xemacs
(Windows 95 , Windows 98 , Windows NT and Windows 2000)

Xemacs is a popular free programmer's editor for UNIX and Windows. 

To add version control support to Xemacs follow these steps:

1. Install CS-RCS and follow the tutorial.
2. Download vc-hooks.el and auto-autoloads.el into your ...\Xemacs\Xemacs-packages\lisp\vc folder.
3. Open vc-hooks.el with Emacs.
4. Apply the Lisp-Interaction | Byte-compile This File menu command.
5. Open auto-autoloads.el with Emacs; Adjust vc-path definition to your machine settings.
6. Apply the Lisp-Interaction | Byte-compile This File menu command.
7. Exit Emacs.
8. Re-activate Emacs. Version control context-sensitive commands are now available under the Tools | CS-RCS menu.
