If you have a normal, non multi-platform, CS-RCS setup and want to access a UNIX GNU RCS project, you don't have to re-install CS-RCS or change the repository root. To access a UNIX project:
1.
Define a CS-RCS Alternate repository project where the Repository folder points to the UNIX folder.
2.
Set the Optimized lock/unlock option in the Advanced tab to False.
