How can I select the SCC provider?

You can deactivate the CS-RCS SCC integration. (see above) This will restore the previous provider that was configured before CS-RCS has been installed.

You can also set the registry key as desired, from the following. Select either:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SourceCodeControlProvider]

"ProviderRegKey" = "SOFTWARE\ComponentSoftware\CS-RCS".

OR

·

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SourceCodeControlProvider]

"ProviderRegKey" = "Software\Microsoft\SourceSafe".

Note: Although you can select an alternative SCC provider, you can use CS-RCS from the Document Explorer.
