My department needs to access remote projects. How should I install CS-RCS?

Run Master setup selecting a local server folder for the Repository root. You may use the same CS-RCS key for all departments, or, purchase a separated license for each department. All the departments' internal projects are stored in the department central repository. To access a shared project:

1.	Ask the CS-RCS administrator to create a security group for the project and add your username to the group.

2.	Create an Alternate repository project specifying the network path of the project as the Repository folder.

Tip: You may use the Windows "Make available offline" feature to hold a copy of the remote projects repository on your workstation. This allows you to use CS-RCS commands when the network is disconnected. However, it is not recommended to check-in new revisions to the offline repository as it may conflict with changes made to the online repository.
