What are the system requirements for a server?

You can use any Windows file-server or shared folder for the repository. However, it is recommended to use NTFS drive as it is more reliable than FAT.

The repository size is affected by:

·	The total size of the initial files.

·	The expected size of new files.

·	The expected number of revisions. CS-RCS only keeps the revisions' delta.

·	The files' types. The CS-RCS revisions delta algorithm is optimized for text files. Binary files, such as MS-Office documents may result in larger repository files.

As a start, the repository should be 3-5 times the initial files sizes. You may move projects to another disk or server at any time if needed.
