Why is the Microsoft Word integration not working?

| The MS-Word startup folder should be located in:
|
| C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP
|
| (Replace '[user name]' with your windows user name and make sure the drive letter matches that of where your operating system is installed.)
|
| 1. | From the Start menu, click Run.
|
| 2. | Enter regedit.
|
| 3. | Click OK.
|
| The Registry Editor dialog box appears.
|
| 4. | Examine the directory location of:
|
| [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\8.0\Word\Options]
|
| STARTUP-PATH = "??"
|
| In the English version of Office/Windows, the Microsoft Word startup folder is usually located in: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\STARTUP".
|
| In the German version of Office/Windows the Microsoft Word startup folder is usually located in: "C:\Programme\Microsoft Office\Office\STARTUP".
|
| In the Dutch version of Office/Windows the Microsoft Word startup folder is usually located in: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\WRDSTART".

| 5. | Exit regedit.
|

|
| 1. | From Windows Explorer, copy C:\Program Files\ComponentSoftware\CS-RCS\System\CSRCS.DO_ to the MS-Word startup folder.

| 2. | In the MS-Word startup folder, rename the file to CSRCS.DOT
|
| 3. | Restart MS-Word. You should now see a new menu named RCS added to the MS-Word menu bar.
