Why are the revision tags not updated in my MS-Word document?

| 1. | Make sure that the Update MS-Office tags option is set in the project Advanced tab. (This is default.)

| 2. | Open a new MS-Word document
|
| 3. | You should see a menu named RCS in the MS-Word menu bar. If you do not see it, please refer to the previous FAQs.

| 4. | From within MS-Word, execute RCS | Check-in
|
| 5. | From within MS-Word, execute File | Properties. Switch to the Custom tab. You should see 3 custom tags set by CS-RCS.

| 6. | From within MS-Word, execute RCS | Insert keywords | In text. You should see the revision 1.0 check-in information.
|
| 7. | Close MS-Word.
|
| 8. | From the CS-RCS Document Explorer, right-click on the document and execute Check-in.
|
| 9. | Re-open the document. You should see the revision 1.1 check-in information.
|
| · | The same applies to the MS-Excel integration.
|
| · | Revision tags are not supported on versions of MS-Office prior to 2000.
|
