The TFSLinks setup bundle is distributed as a zip file. The bundle contains a TFSLINKSSETUP.EXE file and a SERVER folder.

To install TFSLinks, take the following steps:

1)

On the TFS computer, login using the TFSSETUP account. (Any account with Administrator rights will work as well.)

Double click the TFSLINKSSETUP.EXE file.

You will then be presented with a message reminding you select the Team Foundation Server later on in the installation process. Click OK.

The CSTFS-WSSetup Setup Wizard welcome window is then initiated, click Next.

The wizard then prompts you to Select Installation Address. You must select Team Foundation Server for the Site, and leave the default Virtual directory unchanged. Click Next.

Click Next again to confirm installation.

Once the installation has completed, click Close, to close the setup wizard.

The Server Security Settings dialog opens. The default settings of this dialog are suitable for most users. Click OK to continue. For more details, refer to Security Settings.

If the installation completed successfully, and TFSLinks has the appropriate security settings, you should get a message box informing you that the TFSLinks Server installation has completed successfully.
