| · | Choose ComponentSoftware demo if you wish to test the RCSBrowser functionality with read-only projects on the ComponentSoftware server. Use this option in order to get a first impression of RCSBrowser functionality. Click Create demo project on ComponentSoftware repository in order to create a read and write demo project on ComponentSoftware server. The demo project details are sent by email.

| · | Select User defined if want to connect to your company's RCSBrowser server or to ComponentSoftware demo project.

| · | Choose the Load predefined option to load an XML definition file prepared for you by your CS-RCS administrator. Click Details… to load the XML definition file. For more details on XML definitions format, see: http://www.componentsoftware.com/Products/rcsbrowser/prjdef.htm

| · | Server URL – RCSBrowser server access URL. For Example, to access the ComponentSoftware demo projects, type www.ComponentSoftware.com/RCSBrowser.

| · | Project Name – Name of the project you wish to access on the RCSBrowser server. You may click … in order to list all projects that are available on the RCSBrowser server. You may select any project from the list.

| · | Use secured SSL – Encrypt all communication with the RCSBrowser server using the SSL protocol. Do not use this feature the first time you connect to a new server as it may complicate communication problems troubleshooting.

The first time you access the RCSBrowser server; you will be prompted for the login parameters. For Example, to access the ComponentSoftware demo projects, type guest for both the username and password.
