Milestone Report - Introduction
Top  Previous  Next

The Milestone Report is used to display information of all files sharing the same milestone.

Note: If none of the project's files share the same milestone, you will not be able to generate a Milestone Report.

The Milestone Report can display the following fields for each milestone in the project:
·Document Name – The file's name.
·Type – The file's extension.
·Folder Name – The path of the folder which holds the file.
·Revision Number – The file's revision number.
·Check-In Date – The file's check-in date.
·Author Name – The file's author.
·Symbolic Name – In the Edit Milestone dialog box (refer to Creating a New Milestone in the Working with Project Milestones section of the User Guide), if you set the project milestone criteria as RCS symbolic name, then the symbolic name appears here.
·State – The file's workflow state. Note: If your state promotion policy requires state promotion for each revision, rather than just the head revision, then you should not rely on this value. Instead, use the Milestone Difference Report - By Changes.
·Description – The file's description (if you gave the file a description).

The Report Generator lets you customize the report; refer to Using the Report Generator for full details.
