The View menu enables you to perform the following:
·Click Project Bar to toggle the display of the Project drop-down list.
·Click Project Tree to toggle the display of the directory tree on the left side of the screen.
·Click Status Bar to toggle the display of the status bar.
·Click Deleted Documents to toggle the display of files with a Deleted status.
·Click View Revision Dialog to open the View Revision Dialog when the View operation is performed on a file. If this option is not selected, then the default tool associated to the selected file's extension will be used.
·Click Sub-folders and select one of the following options:
·Always – Whenever a project or folder is selected on the left-hand tree, CS-RCS displays all files within the folder and its sub-folders.
·Never – Whenever a project or folder is selected on the left-hand tree, CS-RCS displays files within the folder only (similar to the Windows Explorer).
·On Projects – Whenever a folder is selected on the left-hand tree, CS-RCS displays files within the folder only. However, whenever a project is selected, CS-RCS displays sub-folders as well. (this is the default)
·Click Sort by to sort the files listed by one of the following categories: Revision Number, Symbolic Name, Check-in Date, or Author.
·Click Refresh (or F5) to refresh the status of all documents. It is convenient to re-sort the list when the refresh operation is completed.
·Click Refresh with Sort (or Shift+F5) to refresh the status of all documents. The list is sorted so files that require special attention are always on top.

Note: When working with many RCS files, the Refresh command can be time consuming. However, if the status information is cached, further use of the Refresh command (from the View menu) and the Scan New Files command (from the Project menu) will be faster. For information on how to confirm that the status information is cached (the program's default), refer to Advanced Properties in Customizing CS-RCS.
