Version Control for Keil Compiler Suite

Keil Software manufactures software development tools for the 8051, 251, and C16x/ST10 microcontroller families. (http://www.Keil.com)

To add version control support (VCS) to Keil Compilers, follow these steps:

1. Install CS-RCS and follow the tutorial.

2. Activate Keil Compiler.

3. Download the file csrcs.SVCS

4. Choose the SVCS | Configure Version Control... menu.

5. In Template File, select the file csrcs.SVCS

6. Click OK.

CS-RCS Operations: (operations are performed on the file selected in the file tree window).

• Add to RCS -- Add current file to the CS-RCS repository.
• Check-in -- Check-in (or add to RCS) the current file.
• Check-out -- Check-out the current file.
• History -- Display the history of the current file.
• RCS Status -- Display the status of the current file.
