How can I configure the "Scan new files" command to execute faster?

By default, CS-RCS recalculates the status of all files when the Project | Scan new files command is executed. This ensures the status matches the repository status and is not affected by information cached on the local workstation. To disable this feature:

1.

Open the Project Properties dialog box.

2.

Select the Advanced tab.

3.

Set the Recalculate Status on scan option to False.
