How do I switch the CS-RCS Repository root to another server?

Determine if you are using a drive-letter or a UNC (i.e. \\Server\folder) convention to access your Repository. (see previous question)
If you are using a drive-letter convention, the Repository root is R:\CS-RCS.
To switch the Repository root to another server:
1.Move the R:\CS-RCS tree to the new location.
2.On all workstations, re-map R: to the new location.

If you are using a UNC convention, the current Repository root is \\OldServer\CS-RCS, but the desired one is \\NewServer\CS-RCS.
To switch the Repository root to another server:
1.To be on the safe side, make a backup of the repository.
2.On the Master workstation, open the CS-RCS Properties. Make sure you can see all projects. Click OK.
3.Re-install CS-RCS on the Master workstation specifying \\NewServer\CS-RCS as the Repository root. Install over your working CS-RCS environment, do not perform uninstall unless this is advised by CS-RCS as this may cause the setup to not be able to transfer all projects and other settings to the new Repository.
4.At the end of the setup process, you will be asked if you want to copy all RCS files. Click YES.
5.Re-install all your workstations. Alternatively, you may change the registry value (see above) to the new Repository location.
