If you use both computers regularly, install CS-RCS on both; however, make sure you are using different CS-RCS user names. This will allow you to easily synchronize changes made on the laptop with changes made on the desktop. (If you are not able to change the login name on one of the computers, please contact ComponentSoftware for advise.) When you leave the office, follow the guidelines outlined in the previous FAQ.
If you use the laptop computer from time to time, install CS-RCS on the desktop only. Copy the work folders from the desktop to the laptop before you leave the office. Copy it back to the desktop when you return. Then, you may check-in all changes as described in the previous FAQ. Tip: You may use the Windows "Make available offline" feature to simplify the laptop and desktop work folders synchronization.
