Features
The diagram below demonstrates a typical environment of RCSBrowser.

The environment consists of the following components:
- RCS Server
- Local clients on LAN
- Remote laptop clients connected over the internet
- Workstation at customer site or employee home connected over the internet
- Internet terminal at hotel or Internet Café
CS-RCS allows access to CS-RCS projects from any workstation via the
Internet. Once the RCSBrowser add-on is installed on your CS-RCS server,
access to projects may be performed in one of two methods.
Native Method
You may create CS-RCS projects that are served by the RCSBrowser server over
the Internet. This will allow you to use the CS-RCS tools such as the
Document Explorer to access remote projects. This method is ideal when traveling
with your laptop or when working from home, as this method provides all the
CS-RCS functionality needed for remote projects.
Internet Browser Method
You may access remote CS-RCS projects through any Internet browser
without any need of client software being installed. This method is ideal
when working from a customer sites or when using a temporary workstation for
shorter periods, e.g. Internet terminal at the airport or an Internet Cafe.
RCSBrowser is tested with all leading Internet browsers, including Microsoft
IE, Netscape and FireFox.
