Complete conversion to TFS
CS-Converter can migrate all your files and history, including check-in comments and timestamp to the Microsoft Team Foundation Server. Migration of labels and branches is also supported.

Full compatibility for the leading revision control systems
CS-Converter is compatible with the leading revision control systems including GNU RCS, CS-RCS, GNU CVS, Subversion (SVN) and Microsoft Visual SourceSafe (VSS).

Data Integrity
CS-Converter verifies the conversion results and suggests fixes whenever the converted file doesn't match the source file. CS-Converter never writes to the source repository.

Changeset Integrity
Origin changesets are kept intact during conversion to TFS thus improving conversion performance and results.

Shared files support
CS-Converter allows you to retain VSS-shared files relations and automatically replicates changes performed on one file to all shared files. You may also define shared files relations manually.

Synchronization (Mirror) Mode
Continue using either or both version control systems, TFS and the Origin System, concurrently even after conversion. New files and file versions added on one system are mirrored to the other. This feature allows for a smoother transition form your old system to TFS.

Username mapping
CS-Converter allows you to map usernames of your original revision control system to Team System users.

Scalable
The location of the converted repository and Team Foundation Server are insignificant. CS-Converter can handle resources found on the local machine, LAN or over the Internet equally well.

Flexibility
CS-Converter allows you to continue working with your original repository during its conversion to TFS. CS-Converter will later suggest fixing files that contain newer revisions.

VSSConverter support
