The CS-CVS Solution

The CS-RCS product family is designed to provide a professional source control solution for software projects.

CS-RCS Pro is suitable solution for scenarios where all users are located in the same location. Optionally, CS-RCS supports remote access from the Internet with the RCSBrowser add-on. If you don't have to connect to a legacy CVS repository, go to the CS-RCS Homepage.

The CS-CVS solution is an add-on package that is integrated into CS-RCS Pro. The benefits of CS-CVS are:

  • Remote Repository Access
    Provide access to remote CVS repositories over corporate networks, VPN or the Internet. CS-CVS provides support for the CVS client-server protocols. (i.e. pserver, sspi, sserver, rsh and ssh) 
     
  • Security
    Client-Server architecture, enforce secure access to projects and protect the repository from any undesired change. This is vital for mission critical projects.
     
  • Access existing CVS repositories
    You may share projects with teams already using CVS on UNIX or other platforms.
