Version Control for TextPad for Windows 95/98/NT
TextPad
is a popular programmer's editor for Windows.
To add version control support (VCS) to
TextPad follow these steps:

- Install CS-RCS and follow the tutorial.
- Download tprcs.reg
(TextPad 3) or
tp4rcs.reg (TextPad 4).
- Replace the path to csrcs.exe with
whatever it is on your system. (if needed)
- Activate tprcs.reg and merge it into the
registry.
- Activate TextPad. You should have the
following commands under the Tools menu:
- RCS Status -- Display the status of the
current buffer.
- Check-in -- Check-in (or add to RCS) the
current buffer.
- Check-out -- Check-out the current buffer.
- History -- Display the history of the
current buffer.
- RCS Explorer -- Activate the CS-RCS
Document Explorer.
